Madam Speaker, We Have The Floor!
Our legislative panel will provide us with updated news on legislation in several states and will cover many issues affecting nonjudicial default servicing including unclaimed property reform and certificates of sale in California; raising the cost (to borrowers) of the nonjudicial foreclosure process in Washington; rules and fees relating to "transfer tax liens' in Texas; the dilution of Oregon’s strict mandate requiring a trustee to effect personal service of the foreclosure notice upon “an occupant” of the property; and other important nonjudicial state legislative changes.
