Major Components of California Homeowner Bill of Rights
Heads to Assembly and Senate for Vote

CA AG Kamala Harris
Members Given Draft Letter To Send To Representatives
Two of the major bills that comprise the California Homeowner Bill of Rights (SB 900 and AB 278) have passed out of committee and will be voted on by California Senate and Assembly next week. The bills have not changed much since the recent summary provided on the bills by UTA President, Robert Finlay, Esq, Wright, Finlay & Zak.
UTA is requesting that members send a draft letter to their Assemblyperson and State Senator as soon as possible. Please note that you will be sending two letters (either by mail or email) that are virtually identical, although the letter to your Assembly Member will reference AB 278 and the letter to your State Senator will reference SB 900.
