Program Requirements and More
Michael R. Brooks, Esq., of Jolley Urga Wirth Woodbury & Standish and Scott Sibley of Nevada Legal News will speak at a dinner event held on Thursday, July 30th from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Ramada Renaissance in Las Vegas.
The dinner speakers will address the new regulations (rules) promulgated by the Nevada State Supreme Court on the Nevada Mediation Program. The regulations were mandated from AB 149. Michael and Scott will also address other requirements in Nevada as mandated by a series of new laws.

• AB140 requires posting the NOD and the NOS and a notice of renters rights on the property if it is a SFR 1-4 (Effective October 1, 2009.)
• AB149 requires mediation and a 60-day Warning notice and a copy of the note to be served (it only applies to NOD's recorded after July 1).
• AB204, HOA super priority lien moves from 6 months to 9 months.
• SB128, Trustees deeds must be delivered within 20 days to third party buyers or recorded with in 30 if back to beneficiary.
