Sacramento Dinner Event Will Address Case Law and
Challenging 2008 Legislative Initiatives

UTA’s Sacramento-based Legislative Advocate, Michael Belote, Esq., of California Advocates,, and UTA’s Legal Resources Chair, Martin McGuinn, Esq., of Kirby & McGuinn, will speak at a dinner event on March 6th, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, held at McCormick & Schmick’s, in downtown Sacramento.

Mike Belote will report on the legislature’s response to the rise in defaults and foreclosures and specifically the introduction of SB 926, comprehensive legislation impacting nonjudicial foreclosure.  Martin McGuinn will provide attendees with a summary of important recent case law.
